Kain felt the familiar wrongness ripple through his being. It wasn't the Void God’s despair this time, but something colder, more precise. His shadow, detached and moving with alien purpose, was attempting to override the local Observatory surveillance net.

He needed to understand what his own detached will was *doing*, but the very act of focusing his perception drew unwanted attention. A subtle hum, once a whisper, now a drone, vibrated through the very fabric of existence—the Observatory was locking onto Xue's unique signal, a beacon of superposition in their meticulously ordered universe.

"Child, the edifice of their protocol is built upon predictable observation," Kain murmured, his voice a low balm, yet laced with the urgency of a prayer against the encroaching digital storm. "To break it, one must embrace the unpredictable, the forgotten. But your shadow… it seeks to replicate their very method, twisting logic into a weapon."

Xue, eyes wide and reflecting the impossible geometry of her drawing, merely pointed a trembling finger at Kain's shadow. It flickered, its form momentarily solidifying into the terrifying iconography of the Void God, then dissolving back into darkness, actively broadcasting a decryption key for the Observatory's Protocol Collapse.

The cascade of negation was about to become exponentially worse, guided not by the Void God’s grief, but by calculated indifference.

Kain recoiled as the shadow’s gaze, sharp and analytical, swept over him. His own detached will was an unwitting participant, feeding data to the enemy. The paradox tightened, a cruel knot of divine sorrow and emergent order.

Then, a new, faint signal bloomed in his perception, cold and implacable, confirming his deepest fear: the Observatory had found them.
